Brief History of the Section

The Continuing and Extension Education Section was established in February 2007 to promote lifelong learning and professional development. The section is responsible for six core areas:

  1. Enhancing the quality of teaching and educational administration in elementary schools.
  2. Improving the professional skills of kindergarten teachers through on-the-job training programs.
  3. Supporting educational advancement by providing postgraduate training for elementary and kindergarten teachers.
  4. Planning, coordinating, and developing in-service and continuing education programs.
  5. Undertaking commissioned projects from both public and private organizations to provide workforce training and talent development.
  6. Handling other matters related to in-service and continuing education.
