Course Registration at NUTN

  1. General Education Courses
    For details on general education courses and course selection policies, please visit the Center for General Education website or contact the staff at (06) 213-3111 #785 or 788.
  2. Professional Courses and Graduation Requirements
    Graduation requirements vary by department. Please consult the specific department's curriculum structure and website for accurate information. It is highly recommended to speak directly with the department's staff. Departmental contact details can be found here.
  3. Course Registration System
    Access the registration system at: https://academics.nutn.edu.tw/SelSys/guide/
  4. Elective Courses with Limited Seats
    For elective courses or those with seat limits, enrollment is determined through a random selection process among students who choose the course.

Important Notes:

  1. Dropping Courses
    During Stages 1 、2 and 3, students may drop a course even if the number of enrolled students exceeds the required minimum.
    During Stage 4 (Final Course Add Period), courses cannot be dropped .
  2. Unable to Enroll in Desired Courses?
    You may take first-year courses from other departments in future semesters, as long as it is before graduation.
    The maximum course load per semester is 30 credits, including required and elective courses.
  3. Minimum Credit Requirements per Semester
    The minimum number of credits per semester must be met for each year level. No exceptions will be allowed.

     9.Course Withdrawal Policy

       Course withdrawal is only allowed during Week 10 to Week 11 of each semester (according to the academic calendar).
       Withdrawal requests must be submitted via the iSTU system.
